STOCKS GOLF EVENTS
General Schedule of Club Competitions
I have set the dates for mens events for 2010 as outlined below and will assume (until told otherwise) that other groups will continue in the same pattern as before. The sWindle will be available every Saturday at 09:20 when the course is available and no other (mens) event is scheduled. Seniors will be playing each Tuesday and Thursday (also for 09:20). The first Saturday in each Month will be an Open Stableford (i.e. Men and Ladies may choose to play together)and the next day will be the new Sunday Monthly Stableford. The following Thursday and the Sunday (8 days after the Open Stableford) will be further Stablefords for Ladies, then (mostly) the last Saturday will be a Ladies Medal with their Thursday Medal always 2 days before. The monthly Mens Medal will be the 3rd Saturday each month (wherever possible)AND the Sunday of that weekend (for a trial period!). The deadline entry for the Summer Knockouts (Mens Singles and Mens Doubles)is April 2nd and the Mens Club Championship (36 hole Scratch Medal) is on the weekend of Saturday/ Sunday 7th/8th August as is the (concurrent) Millennium Cup (the Mens Nett Club 2 Day Medal Championship). I will add and change (mens) events according to demand. The mens monthly comps. can be now be played on either the Saturday or the next day (Sunday) or even both days - as they are now seperate events. The Mens Monthly Competitions will function on a roll up, pay and play basis. All scores cards should be placed box in the 'spike bar'. Or if the Spike Bar is closed then in the Starters Hut.
